Rotation

From the finest fennel, to the largest beefsteak,
Mother earth's nourishment is no mistake.
The soil turns over, riverbanks rise and fall,
The sun sends signals and talks to it all.
From country to country, fresh crops in rotation,
Nature prevails and sends it sensation.
The colors in fall, the fresh sprouting crops,
Grow inch by inch, from rain and dewdrops.
The fruit it does ripen, the seeds are discarded,
They return to the earth, right back where they started.
