The masters have spoken.

The experts have died.

They wrote about things

they had tucked up inside.

They shared gifts and knowledge

with all of mankind.

But they were looked upon

like they were out of their mind.

If you don’t understand,

you won’t give a damn.

Until they have gone,

will you realize their song.

Some words are so empty,

so lonely and cold,

if you don’t understand

the story that’s told.

Now I’m writing like them

in poems or in song.

I hope you get the message

before I have gone.
