Thoughts of this and thoughts of that,
Without any thoughts how could we chat?
Thoughts of love and thoughts of pain,
do thoughts come from outside our brain?
They say there's a collectives where all thought comes from,
the idea excites some people and makes others feel numb.
As we know there's many that say they want proof,
and they look at spiritual concepts like they are a spoof.
But actually what is it that we can truly prove in life?
Everything hasn't been found with a microscope or a knife.
There's things within things and rings within rings,
going smaller and larger like infinite springs.
Yesterday's gone today is here
tomorrow often seems far too near.
Children are born and loved ones are lost,
time after time the life lines are crossed.
There's many things for man to debate,
but disagreements should not lead to hate.
Here's a question I just have to write:
Can thought travel faster than light?
