The Angel's Curse

I'm going to ground you, my lovely Angel,
and bind your wings so tight,
that your emotions will flood you,
with tears that flow all day and night.
Oh you've toyed with me for the last time that will be,
and now I'm returning all the pain that you've given me.
"No more pain" will be the words that echo in your mind,
and everyone you meet these are the words that you will find.
You're no longer my lost love
you're just a person that I met,
and the pain you've given me
will be yours to regret.
Once I called you Angel
now I call you nothing at all,
for now I return the emptiness
that led me to Fall.
The mirrors that you look in will show pain you can't erase,
and the vision that you see will be tormented by my face.
I've taken back the energy that you'll no longer see,
and gave you back the curse that you bestowed on me.
