You are here

after life

Our First and Last Kiss

I remember those times of our youth and our bliss,

and how your eyes gleamed with that first kiss.

The paths we walked were one pleasure to another.

Pathological Prize

The worms crawl in. The worms crawl out.

The worms play pinochle on your snout.

Remember this from your youth?

Well, part of it does hold some truth.

The Price of Youth

I traded in my sneakers and shorts for bifocals and a cane.

The price you pay for losing your youth is such a terrible pain.

Self Attainment

I seek not rewards. I seek not wrath.

I have no savior lighting my path.

I haven’t any battles with evil nor any with mankind.

I have a simple path that is so sublime.

Serenity of Dreams

Serenity of Dreams

Where will I go after I die

and I’m in an urn or casket to lie?

This question runs through many a mind

with no absolute answers to find.

Shadow of the Rose

This rose I smell alone,

reminds me of love I miss.

This rose smells so sweet,

and reminds me of your kiss.

You’re just a shadow to me now,

In future Heavenly astral flight,

we will drift in somber delight.

When we leave these bonds of clay.

In infinite energies we will stay.

Too Much Ink

I don’t write empty words to cover pages of white.

I write my verses to send my own insight.

Yet it’s not my words you should listen to,

The Well

Well digger, well digger, come dig my grave.

Make it as round as an infants nave.

Make it so deep I see no light,

for I want no ascension within my sight.
