A Simple Confession to God

Apology
 

I've had enough God, I'm kicking the dust off my shoes,
all the non-believers have gave me the blues.
I'm tired of humanity and their selfish way,
do you have room in Heaven for me to come stay?
I know the commandments and I've broken a few,
but, isn't that normal for humans to do?
I've always been right with my fellow man,
and tried to live life by most of your plan.
I've lived through divorces, drugs and drunk days,
and so many said these are not your ways.
But God, I'm mortal and I've over came the temptations.
Must I stand judgment and face tribulations?
Can you forgive me for the things I have done?
I worship the Father and wait for the Son.
The pages in my Bible haven't been turned lately,
Yet, I know that your love can set us all free.
It's taken me so long to get to this point I'm at now,
and thank you my Lord, for showing me how.
