I'm just a puppet with no strings of my own,
trapped in this world feeling often alone.
Each step I take seems like I've taken it before,
I have question after question finding locked door after door.
They say to pray and ask God for his love,
they say to live a good life to ascend up above.
They say life is suffering and each day is just pain,
some times I wonder if the master plan is insane.
Roses for love Mums for the dead,
people in parlors spouting words never said.
Will anyone miss me after I'm dead?
will anyone speak of my concepts they've read?
I guess for now I'll live the best life that I can,
and keep reaching out for that one caring hand.
