Me, mine, me, mine, that's all I ever hear.
From humans that are self-centered
and share not what is dear.
This body we have entered,
with hands that can hold things
clutches onto treasures
like gold, silver and rings.
Yet, many of their measures
of what they believe has worth
will be here long after they leave
this lovely place called Earth.
I pray we learn to believe
and share the treasures that we find
and not let them deceive
into greed that consumes one's mind.
