Saying “I don’t take my meds because they make me feel funny” is like cannibals saying they don’t eat clowns because they taste funny.

My life was full of sadness. I walked my path alone.
It seemed no matter where I went, I never had a home.
I sought help and it seemed there was none to be.
I was so lonely in this world, like there was only me.
I was at the bottom of an endless pit that consumed my soul.
I found no comfort in my fellow man who peace was not their goal.
I closed my eyes and sat real still and I began to see
that the strength I had been looking for was all inside of me.
Now I must say to all, if you ever feel alone…
look deeply within, then you’ll find your true home.
