When people meet others with mental illness, it’s hard to accept or understand and not judge. It’s even harder for the person that lives with it.
If you need emergency assistance in the United States, call Suicide Prevention at (800) 273-8255 or the Veterans Crisis Line at (855) 238-5745. Otherwise call 911 or your local emergency number.
For my personal views dealing with suicide which I have called SE (Self Execution) please read and share my book if you believe it can help others. Download The Survivor's Guide to Self Execution right now!
This is a specially formatted version of the Survivor's Guide for PDF readers so you can read it on almost any device. Check your app store for a free PDF reader.
It is also available in paperback at Amazon.com. Buy one for a friend (especially one without a computer or cell phone!).
Release
Would anyone like to join me in a good cry today
and let it wash some of your inner turmoil away.
The things we bury, the things we hide
often tear us all apart from inside.
When it comes to PTSD there's almost and unwritten code
"If you can't find a way to download you can explode!"
And lash out towards your friends and family
Confusing them with the actions they see.
PTSD causes guilt, hurt, low self esteem and rage
and the traumas you've seen are an endless page.
Is there a way to become released from the torment within
which makes you believe your service was a Sin.
I'm sure you've asked for forgiveness I'm sure you have prayed.
Over the loss of a comrade who was untimely slayed
I know you prayed they found Heaven you prayed they found Peace.
And these words of prayer were the first steps to your Release...
