Before I die I'd like to see my name on the famous bipolar list only to make sure they spell it right.
If you need emergency assistance in the United States, call Suicide Prevention at (800) 273-8255 or the Veterans Crisis Line at (855) 238-5745. Otherwise call 911 or your local emergency number.
For my personal views dealing with suicide which I have called SE (Self Execution) please read and share my book if you believe it can help others. Download The Survivor's Guide to Self Execution right now!
This is a specially formatted version of the Survivor's Guide for PDF readers so you can read it on almost any device. Check your app store for a free PDF reader.
It is also available in paperback at Amazon.com. Buy one for a friend (especially one without a computer or cell phone!).
Don't talk to me, just pass me by,
I used to have friends, now I don't try.
That way you won't have to judge me when I reveal myself,
and give you the list of the things on my shelf.
I have filled many minds with my pain,
they showed me no mercy just called me insane.
Duty was my call that caused me to fall,
caring about others, putting them above all.
I once was a soldier, now I'm a tattered shell,
and the pain that I have is in a bottomless well.
Without medication, I would have been long gone,
yet now frustration seems to be my ultimate song.
Millions of Vets have problems like me,
with no understanding or compassion to see.
So I'll take my meds and do the best that I can,
and pray for the others that have served this land.
