You are here

NO

NO
Excessive thoughts over and over again
of how taking your life would allow you to win.
Each time you push them out of you're mind
they creep back in, in a different design.
Some are mild or can be so sublime
that killing yourself seems like the right path to find.
It's like having a small voice inside you're head.
That says over and over you're better off dead.
It will tell you you're friends and family will be better off without you.
And if you take you're life your pain will be through.
Or when you're taking your medication
they'll whisper to you
"taking them all would be the right thing to do."
If this poem seems familiar to you
I've heard the same voices that most of us do.
So the next time those thoughts or small voices creep in
Simply say "NO" to their trickery my friend!
