New Eyes

My arms got too short for me to read anymore,
then the eye doctor gave me a script for the store.
I bought a new pair of glasses and saw a new world
but when I looked down the ground had a swirl.
It seemed that the Earth was right under my chin,
and I had to learn to walk all over again.
But, I'm not complaining I see everything clear,
and I can read anything far away or quite near.
I see everything fine, I'm filled with thrills,
until those sad days when I read my bills.
