If you ask a question, ask it to yourself first and if you don’t like answering it, don’t ask it!
If you need emergency assistance in the United States, call Suicide Prevention at (800) 273-8255 or the Veterans Crisis Line at (855) 238-5745. Otherwise call 911 or your local emergency number.

The crack of dawn comes early they say,
not early enough to take nightmares away.
All night I toss and all night I turn,
from memories I wish I could burn.
Luckily now I don't remember them,
they're masked by the pills I call my friend.
Yet, I still have them I'll never forget,
I awake some mornings covered in sweat.
Yes the pills mask them at night when I dream,
at least now I don't wake up from a scream.
I'm groggy at night and groggy in the morn,
from serving my country during Desert Storm.
But, even though it stays trapped deep within,
I'd do it all over again and again.
For in this beautiful land that we live,
Serving your country is the most you can give.
