Love vs the Lair

Deep within the ancient dragon’s lair

are claw marks on the walls and stale, dark air.

Bones are scattered as twigs upon the floor.

They’re remnants of the valiant that lost their war.

Helmets and shields shimmer in the black cave,

tarnishing slowly within the mass grave.

This Demon from Hell with scars and with fire,

loves the taste of a man filled with desire.

Many warriors fell prey to its sharp teeth.

Their corpses were drug to the Hell down beneath.

He lets them rot, it seasons his feast.

This is truly a Demonic Beast.

There’s not one rat that lives in his cave.

This tomb’s reserved for the Valiant and Brave.

My maiden in the morn I must face this beast,

whether I emerge victorious or fall as a feast.

Share me a kiss. Fill my heart with power

before the sun arises and I test the hour.

Lend me your Heart, help me conquer this beast.

Let my Sword be his last earthly feast.
