Invasion

Invasion
I’ll always remember what you did.
When I close my eyes you're under each lid.
Your selfishness will forever torment me.
It’s controlling my mind. I can’t get free.
I can still smell your drunken desire,
your want, your rage and demented power.
I look behind me wherever I go,
wondering when the next time you’ll show.
You’ve stripped away so much life from me.
Suicide dances in my mind as the way to be free.
Where were you, God, when he made his attack
as I lay powerless, flat on my back?
What am I to do? I feel empty inside.
I’m stuck with emotions I’ll never hide.
I believe the best course I can do
is find a loving man more powerful than you.
