Facade

Without the down, without the satin,

without the clown, and without the latin.

Life is love and pain is true.

Sleepless nights without do.

I have no fear I have no pain.

There are no thoughts seeming  insane.

Waiting, waiting for a message to come.

Thinking, “Shall I stay or shall I run?”

Reality transcending endless time.

Birth after birth, less a rhyme.

The clock is ticking on the wall.

Will man stand or will he fall?

Crushed beneath the boulder heap,

simple messages that seem so deep.

Colored glass contained in lead,

biblical nonsense often said.

Crosses empty, crosses full.

Neither one contains the rule.

Gilded books with no answers.

Colorful outfits with no dancers.

Plates of silver, plates of gold,

containing tithing that has no hold.

Walls and doors, benches and steeples,

like a trap luring people.

Children walking paths they’re told.

Pages of ink holding mold.

Hearkened verses sang in choirs.

Hopeful people with desires.

Seekers seeking things of naught,

echoing biblical quotes they’re taught.

Today is now, today is here.

Find thyself within a mirror.

Within the light that warms thy eyes,

love yourself and see the lies.

Master time and find the wind.

Enjoy life and negate the Sin.

Walk the path without the wrath.

See the true in what you do.

Believe believing gestate within.

Enjoy the journey without an end.
