I heard this when I was in the Air Force: “There’s never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over.”

Death’s Sweet Kiss
The darkness is coming as light slips away.
I grow nearer to death on every day.
I have no fear of this imminent end.
I welcome its kiss as a long waited friend.
When my eyelids do close for this flesh’s last blink,
my energy will be drawn to infinities link.
So, as I wait for the end to grow near,
I’ll welcome the new path without any fear.
If this new path is formed from a creator above,
I’ll enjoy the journey and all of his Love.
