Childhood

My little sister cooked my Mr. Potato Head,
in her Easy Bake Oven until he was dead.
I cried when I saw what she did to him,
she smiled and gave me an evil grin.
I ran and got her Barbie doll,
pulled her head off, threw her down the hall.
She just stood and smiled at me,
for behind her back I didn't see,
was my favorite hero, G.I. Joe,
all I could say was "No, no, no!"
She tore off his legs and both of his arms,
now this was a battle heading for harm.
I ran and grabbed her piggy tail,
she grabbed my shirt and let out a wail.
When the war had just begun,
Mom showed up and said, "Hey, my son!
Let go of your sister's pretty hair,
I'll have no fighting anywhere."
She got a belt and whipped Sis and Me,
it didn't hurt we thought we got off free.
Until her next words of terror were known:
"You'll get the rest when your Dad gets home."
