Three eggs, two slices of toast, a cup of coffee, an episode of Mr. Ed... What else does a man need?

With every tick of the clock,
does new secrets it unlock?
With every bang of a Boom,
does it open much more room?
With every slash of the past,
will new things come and old things last?
With every rising of the sun,
will it be horror or will it be fun?
With every breath of the wind's air,
will humanity just sit and stare?
With every new grain of dust,
can humanity lose the lust?
Power is power and free is free,
but, they both hold burdens don't you see?
Could humanity be so blind,
or will they suffer in due time?
Words are words and rhymes are rhymes,
moonlight glows and sunshine shines.
Souls are souls and sins are sins,
how many will be scattered to the winds?
Help me God if you believe it's needed,
but help mankind become less conceited,
Help them see their one true self,
then grow from their internal wealth.
Help them see their own mission,
lets now quit all the fishing.
Show them how to walk the walk,
and when to fight and when to balk!
