My Destiny
I respect you. I respect your belief.
I respect your commitment your pain or your grief.
Not any of us can walk the exact same path
that leads to salvation, joy or wrath.
Each step we take in our own particular way
plus actions and words lead to our future day.
Personally I live careless and free
without any thought of my destiny.
Some may view this as the wrong path to choose.
And without religion or belief in an afterlife I'm going to lose.
Seriously I walk the best path I can
and try to do right by my fellow man.
If it's not enough for a God up above
then to the fire below he'll send me with an eternal shove...
