A friend asked me if I have a favorite poem.

I replied, “Yes I do, it’s always the next one I will write.”

He laughed a bit and then he left.

Did you ever have a poem at the tip of your pen

with a perfect beginning, yet you’re stuck for the end?

Did you ever write a poem with subconscious thought,

The flux

Should I write couplets, double rhymes, or free verse?
I think the poem should decide without a lyrical nurse.
So many try to force each word and every letter,

Reflections

   I'd like to write a rhyming poem,
where words just flowed and hearts could roam,
where minds entwined and thoughts just flowed,
from the simple words that I showed.

Obstacle

    Not that writers block again,
with all my concepts tucked within.
Seems they come and go like the wind,
I never know when they'll begin.
