War

War
I thought I'd write a couple of lines tonight
about people who suffer and the battles they fight.
Some are right in their face others hidden in their mind
the subliminal ones are so hard to find.
But these traumatic memories that control their life
causing them many different forms of strife.
Which often seems like there is no release
to quell their pains and give them peace.
Many believe they live in a Hell of their own
and no other person exists in their zone.
But actually so many have a common core
and don't really exist in a singular war.
So don't be afraid to share what's controlling you
for there's so many others that can help you get through.
Through the places they've also been before
and help you with your own personal War...
