A Strong Shelter

 

An octagon gazebo has an angle

of twenty-two and a half degrees by the carpenter’s tool.

His framing square is his Bible that holds a finite rule.

Without this guide to keep things in perfect line,

our structures would be weak and fall after time.

I use humanity, the Earth, Sun, and Stars up above

as my framing square for God’s light and love.

From these things above and below,

I find knowledge so few do know.

I am a simple spiritual man.

I believe in God and his infinite plan.

I don’t find my belief between the hard bound covers of a book.

All the answers are in the universe, if you know how to look.
