Me

    There's nothing I can't put in verse
I am Bipolar it is my curse
I guess my life could be worse.
For in the words I write each day,
that takes some of my pain away.
There are some things that I may say,
to give some others a brighter day.
But, if my mind does go astray
and the madness comes my way.
It won't matter how much I pray,
for some things are just meant that way.
Then locked up I could be,
with many minds just like me.
Who have brilliant thoughts some do not see
from the stigma of insanity.
So take me as you wish and how I am
for I am just a simple man,
Not a scholar and without a plan,
just some one that you can call
     --Stan.
