Little Blessings

Did you ever have one of those days,
when you wanted to rest and your kids ran astray.
It's funny they say you spend two years teaching them to walk and talk,
and sixteen years telling them to sit down, shut up, and not make a squawk.
Yeah but you love them because their part of you,
even if you're not happy with the actions they do.
Kids are the only hope to make the world a better place,
and hopeful contribute beautiful things to the human race.
The best thing any parent could wish for their children s life,
is that they surpass our own abilities and live without strife.
They could be a doctor, a lawyer or a ditch digger too,
but our best blessing would be to support what they do.
So if you are blessed with children for your wife and you,
try to make it the best life you can in all that you do.
