Lithium

Lithium
Have you ever woke up strapped to a bed
from the unbalanced thoughts that came from your head.
Let me tell you it happened to me one day
when I was in the mental health ward at the VA.
Arms and legs restrained with a leather strap
one tied me to the bed down by my lap
I had no idea what I'd done the night before
but being over four hundred pounds and six foot four.
I could only conclude what ever it was wasn't for my safety and protection
and probably the only way they could get me in the bed was with an injection.
Seriously this happened many years ago when I was on lithium which was a bad drug for me.
And now that I'm properly medicated I live somewhat careless and free...
