Legacy

A friend asked me if I have a favorite poem.

I replied, “Yes I do, it’s always the next one I will write.”

He laughed a bit and then he left.

See, I enjoy writing. It’s a release for me.

And I will tinker verse to verse,

until I finally lose my mind or leave this world.

Fame and fortune matter not,

I just write concepts to share.

I believe in everything I write.

You may if you dare.
