Giving

Giving

That feast is around the bend,
as Thanksgiving Day is closing in.
The world right now seems like an unstable deal,
but let's all pray and enjoy our meal.
Let's try to give to those that are in need,
and make generosity a common deed.
It's not a contest to see how much you give,
yet every penny adds up for another to live.
Thanksgiving is a holiday that was designed to share,
as you enjoy your feast don't forget to care.

There's so many afflictions that can affect mankind,
from homeless to hunger there are so many to find.
Caring is so simple for us to do,
when you realize the many who need help from you.
