I felt like walking on a sleepless night,
under dark skies with bright moonlight.
Above in the air flew a White Snow Owl,
sending the screech of it’s mating call.
It flapped strong wings with such grace.
His beauty put a smile on my face.
Then formed a tear in my eye,
as I watched the owl in the sky.
It called several times as it flew.
Then, deep in my soul, I surely knew
that this Majestic Owl I did see,
was circling my head reminding me.
I closed my eyes and ascended in air
with this mystical owl absent of care.
I felt his wings caressing my face,
suddenly knowing a long lost place.
My spirit was alive absent of care
as I soared with memories in the air.
I opened my eyes, saw him fly away,
to infinite skies, I would join someday.
