Bravery

Bravery
I'm sixty years old and six foot four and over four hundred pounds.
But with all of that I still have tears that can be found.
What rips me apart is anything dealing with Duty, Honor or Country.
And when I hear Taps I cry uncontrollably.
Seriously being Bipolar and having PTSD
I believe the tears help set my mind free.
There are songs like "Angel Flight" where I've cried and my heart beats were slowed.
But seriously I believe it I didn't cry now and then I might explode.
I take many anti-psychotics at night just to sleep.
The ones I take for mood swings slowed down the many times I would weep.
I know medication doesn't work for us all,
but without mine PTSD would have led me to fall.
For all of you my fellow Brothers and Sisters across our land and proud country.
Crying for the ones we've loved and lost is the strongest form of bravery...
